Twig’s Reloading Den

It's almost spring and it is snowing again. The fishing season is just around the corner and we have been busy ordering all the necessary hardware for that, including hip waders, rooster tails, hooks, lines and sinkers.

            We have taken notice that the bullets and powder supplies are getting a little thin, so we have been ordering those things too. As usual, it is a hurry up & wait game played this time of year. All distributors want the orders in before the end of January but they don't have the inventory to ship to us.

New products are being advertised but we won't see them for several months. Manufacturers don't want to get caught with an over abundance of inventory that doesn't sell. We have to order and then have items back ordered with a first come first serve attitude from the distributors. So it's always a wait and see approached how much merchandise comes in.
            Everyone is anticipating the new stuff. We have one of the new Ruger SR22's. It seems to be a well made item. The new 17 hornet has a lot of interest but haven't had a firearm available yet. The ammo is becoming available.
           
For now keep on reloading and look forward to seeing everyone sometime.

            Here is a link to some pictures of the PaddleFest event on Oct. 1st between Pymatuning Dam and Greenville Riverside Park. This was an extremely successful event considering the weather that day. Hats off to Hugh Clak and the River Watchers organization for all of their efforts in making this happen.
